NATT'S DESIGN JOURNEY
DES200 - AT Hop Kids Logo Design

Final Logo
I focused on the AT-Hop company brand and identified the necessary elements to effectively portray what they do and what could intrigue children (the three objectives: brand, use, and audience). With careful consideration, I chose transportation as the primary element of the logo. I used the three primary modes of transportation: bus, train, and ferry.
Design process (ideating & developing)

As for the audience (kids), the approach I took was semi-noisy, entertaining, but simplistic in terms of aesthetic/vibe. I achieved this by incorporating environmental elements, including rails, roads, and water, with the colours of the existing logo. I also explored different ways I could use the original logo (for simplicity) as the kids' logo.
A catchy style and movement are also essential, so I decided between the three-sectioned technique, utilising the shape of the logo, and incorporating it within the typography.
During my design process, I created the digital versions of the logo ideas to simplify the critique and development process, as I needed to understand how all the elements work together.
I also prioritised getting feedback to ensure I was designing not from a biased perspective.
